Edwin T. Davis III (Thad)

Mr. Davis is a licensed attorney in the state of Texas.  Mr. Davis completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin from where he earned a B.A. in Plan II.  Subsequently, he attended the University of Houston Law Center, where he focused on real estate and finance courses and graduated with honors.

After law school, Mr. Davis worked as an associate for Andrews & Kurth, L.L.P. where he concentrated on real estate, oil & gas and finance transactions.  In particular, he worked on projects involving real estate limited partnerships and family limited partnerships.  Mr. Davis is a member of the Texas Bar Association and the Houston Bar Association.  Mr. Davis also is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Texas and is in the process of earning his full broker's license.

Since joining Davis / Chambers & Company, Ltd. in January 1999, Mr. Davis has participated in hundreds of valuations of family limited partnerships and small businesses. Having passed four of the required five courses, he is currently in the process of fulfilling the requirements to become an accredited member of the American Society of Appraisers.
