D/C was founded in 1979 by E. Ted Davis. Dunbar Chambers III joined the firm as a partner in 1995 to expand the firm's appraisal capabilities. Clayton Chambers joined the team to further enhance the company's investment banking expertise.
As a group, the principals of D/C have participated in financial transactions worth nearly $1 billion, including public offerings, private financings, and mergers and acquisitions. D/C is a recognized leader in the business valuation field, having performed over 125 business appraisals last year.
