Davis/Chambers was founded in 1979 by E. Ted Davis. Dunbar Chambers III joined the firm as a partner in 1995 to expand the firm's appraisal capabilities. Clayton Chambers joined the team in 1999 to further enhance the company's investment banking expertise and finally, Thad Davis joined the firm, further expanding the appraisal capabilities through his knowledge of law.

E. Ted Davis, Principal

A graduate of Harvard (MBA) and University of Texas, (BS-Chemical Engineering), Mr. Davis founded the firm in 1979. He has extensive experience in the valuation of privately held businesses. Mr. Davis has founded several successful business ventures and is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker, having completed transactions in excess of $135 million.

Dunbar N. Chambers III, CFA, ASA, Principal

A graduate of the University of Utah (BS-Finance and Management), Mr. Chambers joined the firm in 1995. He is a CFA charterholder, an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers, and a member of the ESOP Association. Mr. Chambers has performed several hundred appraisals since joining the firm and is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker, a member of the CFA Institute and a member of the Houston Society of Financial Analysts.

Clayton Chambers, Managing Director Investment Banking

A graduate of the University of Virginia (BA-Economics) and Rice University (MBA), Mr. Chambers has been working in the M&A field and performing appraisals since 1986. During his career, Mr. Chambers has participated in over 50 middle market transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $500 million.

Edwin T. Davis III (Thad), Principal

A graduate of the University of Texas (BA - Plan II) and the University of Houston Law Center., Mr. Davis is a licensed attorney in the State of Texas. He is a member of the Texas and Houston Bar Associations.

Paula F. Lindsey, ASA, Associate

Ms. Lindsey received both an MBA and a BA-Finance from Oklahoma State University. Since 1986, Ms. Lindsey has provided financial consulting services in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, operational reviews and strategic planning to companies in a variety of industries. She joined D/C in 1999. Mrs. Lindsey is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers.

Lewis E. Ball II, ASA, CPA, CMA, Associate

A graduate of the University of Texas (BBA-Finance), Mr. Ball holds the ASA certification of the American Society of Appraisers. He has been performing valuations with D/C since 1999. In his early career, Mr. Ball worked with Ernst & Young, CPAs and served as Chief Financial Officer of Stewart & Stevenson and Richmond Tank Car Company, both Houston-based publicly-held companies.

G. Clyde Buck, Affiliate

Mr. G. Clyde Buck affiliated with Davis/Chambers in January, 2008. Mr. Buck will be actively involved in the marketing of Davis/Chambers services, and will assist Davis/Chambers partners in expanding its large corporate valuation projects, registered and unregistered securities valuations, investment banking services, and litigation support.

Stuart L. Hoff, Associate

Mr. Hoff holds a B.A. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia. He has also attended McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California, and the graduate school of business at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Mr. Hoff joined Davis/Chambers in 2007.

R. Joseph Corkin, Associate

Mr. Corkin holds a BS from Iowa State University and an MS in Finance and Certificate in Financial Services Management from the University of Houston. While attending the University of Houston, he was a student analyst and portfolio manager for Cougar Investment Fund, LLC. He is currently pursuing the CFA designation and has passed Level III. Mr. Corkin joined Davis/Chambers & Company in April 2008.

Andrew A. Cooper, MFIN, Valuations Assistant

Andrew Cooper holds a B.A. in Philosophy and a Masters in Finance (MFIN), both from The University of Tulane. After Hurricane Katrina flooded the city of New Orleans resulting in the temporary closing of Tulane University, Andrew evacuated to Austin where he spent a semester studying at the University of Texas.
